Music at FCC

One of the comments we often hear from first-time visitors to FCC is "Wow. A real choir in a small church. That's special." We couldn't agree more. For 20 years, through all our ups and downs, Music Director Tom Truchan has helped us truly to "make a joyful noise" in our worship . . . with everything from Bach Cantatas to Broadway Show Tunes.
This year has seen exciting new growth in our musical life. Tom has written and performed a number of original preludes, and the choir has been enriched with new members and several regular visiting musicians. On Easter, our "small" choir had more then 20 singers. Come join us. It's the best seat in the house.

Our Very Own Hymn. When we completed the re-design and re-building of our Sanctuary in 2001, we commissioned a Hymn from composer Dan Damon for the dedication. "This Hand to Hold, This Song to Sing" celebrates both the spirit of FCC and the features of our new space. It's been a favorite of the Choir and Congregation ever since.
