One of the comments we often hear from first-time visitors to FCC is “Wow.  A real choir in a small church.  That’s special.”  We couldn’t agree more. For many years, through all our ups and downs, our Choir has helped us truly to “make a joyful noise” in our worship . . . with everything from Bach Cantatas to Folk music to Broadway Show Tunes (with some very “interesting” stops in between.)

The picture above is our choir in the pre-Covid world, and getting back to that level of polish is still a work in progress, but under Music Director Gerry Grosz, we’re getting there.  Here’s an example (masks and all)  from Sunday February 19, 2023.

Hymn on white large

Our Very Own Hymn. When we completed the re-design and re-building of our Sanctuary in 2001, we commissioned a Hymn from composer Dan Damon for the dedication. “This Hand to Hold, This Song to Sing” celebrates both the spirit of FCC and the features of our new space. It’s been a favorite of the Choir and Congregation ever since. (Click here to download a full-size copy and sing along!)
