On January 6, we gathered at Oak and Mary Dowling's house to close the holiday season with our annual Twelfth Night Party. A large crowd turned out for a gourmet potluck dinner, lots of good company and the usual silly exchange of "under-appreciated" presents. Because it was also Oak's birthday, we were treated to a surprise appearance by "Carmen Miranda." who helped us celebrate the day in her own unique way! (Photos by the Dowling family.
